Reward U Loyalty Program - Complete Rules
Below are the complete rules of the RewardU™ Program. CMS is not responsible for group leaders who fail to read the Complete Rules of the program. All questions should be directed to your Fundraising Manager at 888.923.3238. These rules are valid as of January 1, 2007.
RewardU™ Points Overview
- Earn 1 point for each dollar in group earnings for any fundraiser performed through CampusFundraiser in a given semester
- Points are credited to the group account at the end of the semester they are earned and expire 12 months after credited to the account
- Earnings are rounded up to nearest dollar for purposes of calculating points. For example, $1,256.75 rounds to $1,257 or 1,257 RewardU points.
- Points are not earned on additional bonus checks, refunds or special circumstances
Bonus RewardU™ Points:
A group will earn bonus points on top of their RewardU™ points under the following conditions:
- A Gold Group will earn a bonus of 500 points on all event fundraisers (currently defined as a Friends and Family Magazine or mtvU program). The group must earn a minimum of $250 to receive the bonus.
- A Platinum Group will earn a bonus of 1,000 points on all event fundraisers (currently defined as a Friends and Family Magazine or mtvU program). The group must earn a minimum of $250 to receive the bonus.
- Any group earning less then $250 in the event fundraiser will receive 1 point for each dollar in group earnings
- No bonus points are awarded to groups for non event fundraisers (example: Online Survey Fundraiser)
- Bonus is paid directly to the Group Leader
Award Levels:
The following points levels are needed to achieve award levels. These points can be earned in any fundraising program through CampusFundraiser
Gold = 750 RewardU Points
Platinum = 3,000 RewardU Points
Group Leader Bonuses
Gold Level
- Bonus is paid directly to the Group Leader
- Bonus is calculated as follows: 10% of the total event fundraiser earnings paid in a given semester
- Bonus is paid to the group leader no sooner than January 1 and June 1 of the year in question.
- Bonus payment is contingent on a phone introduction to the following semesters fundraising chair or group leader
- Group leaders requiring a stop payment and reissue of a bonus check, regardless of the reason, will pay a reissue fee of $35.
Platinum Level
- Bonus is paid directly to the Group Leader
- Bonus is calculated as follows: 20% of the total event fundraiser earnings paid in a given semester
- Bonus is paid to the group leader not sooner then January 1 and June 1 of the year in question
- Bonus payment is contingent on a phone introduction to the following semesters fundraising chair or group leader
- Group leaders requiring a stop payment and reissue of a bonus check, regardless of the reason, will pay a reissue fee of $35.
