University of Minnesota - Duluth

The Duluth Women’s Rugby Club has been fundraising with CampusFundraiser since spring 2003. So, the club is no stranger to CampusFundraiser’s proven programs, earning $4,392 to date! This made choosing to work with CampusFundraiser an easy decision for group leader, Maggie McMahon. “CampusFundraiser, pushed us to make our goal…..It’s a great way to make money in a positive way”, says Maggie.

When Stephanie the team leader, found out about CampusFundraiser from their previous president who had success she was thrilled. “They seemed to be very helpful and inviting and they answered all my questions and made sure we made the money we wanted to.” She says of her 19 group members “they were excited about earning a lot of money in a little amount of time.” “Our group members knew a bunch of people and everyone was more then willing to help out.”

Fortunately the team will no longer be wondering how they will play without a referee since their earnings of $2,227 well exceeded their expectations. Although this was the team’s first fundraiser with CampusFundraiser under current team leader Stephanie, she tells us “I loved it and I would definitely do it again.” Who could blame them since the outcome of their hard work was rewarded in little to no time?
