All the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority wanted for their house at the University of New Hampshire was a yard fence. It didn’t seem like much to ask for…a mere $1,500.

“We had tried charitable events and sales in the past” with only tepid results, according to group leader Missy Hofmann. Seeking fresh fundraising ideas, she sought out our website, found what she liked, and signed up. “This was much different,” says Missy of her decision to work with CampusFundraiser. “But it seemed that everyone would be able to participate in our house. That it would be easy and rewarding.”

With no traditional fundraising experience to fall back on, Missy and her sisters needed to rely heavily on the CampusFundraiser coaching staff. “They took me through each step of the process. That was really helpful!” she gratefully recalls. The CampusFundraiser support really started to pay off as Missy’s friends started responding. “They all helped and loved how easy it was and were so excited with the outcome!”

Asked to describe the CampusFundraiser experience, Missy reports “It was great!” Best of all, the hard work really paid off for the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. “After we had completed the drive, our National office offered to pay for our fence. We are now voting on whether to use the money we raised for charities, socials, or something else.”
