What could taste better than setting a fundraising goal…and then surpassing it? Not sure? Check in with John Hagaman, group leader for Alpha Gamma Rho at Tarleton State.

Here’s a group that signed up with CampusFundraiser with an eye towards making $3,000. “We made $750 from our last fundraising event” John reports, “but needed much more than that just to cover our house’s general operating expenses.” So John went in search of a new college fundraising idea.

“We wanted to try something new – something bigger. That’s when I saw the CampusFundraiser flyer” he tells us now. It was a match destined for success.

Describing the experience as “enjoyable”, John and his team liked CampusFundraiser’s materials, training and the fact that it cost them nothing to get started.

Maybe it was because they sensed the potential for a huge success that the brothers were so “energetic, appreciative and excited” going into the home stretch. Whatever the reason, though, they started off on a good note and quickly proceeded to become the single largest program ever done by a student group working with CampusFundraiser.

IN A MERE THREE HOURS, THE MEN FROM ALPHA GAMMA RHO ENDED UP NETTING ALMOST SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!

Alpha Gamma Rho has every right to be proud of their efforts and their results. The renovations for the house are already in the planning stages, and some of the money is even being set aside for developing future events.
