            One of the biggest complaints about Greek life is definitely the costs.  Dues, insurance, holding events, and donating to philanthropies adds up quick.  So what would you say if we told you there was a sorority you could join where there were no dues? 

            One of the major selling points for the Alpha Omega Epsilon Sorority at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, was that their current fundraising efforts not only paid their expenses, but covered the costs of dues for the sisters.  However, as the sorority continued to grow larger, it became more apparent that they were not making enough money to continue doing this.  The girls had two options – charge dues, or do more fundraising.

            Fundraising chair Sarah Dufrensne decided on the latter.  She started searching online for fundraising ideas, and came up with a few different options.  However, she says, “CampusFundraiser became the clear cut favorite.” 

            “At first I was a little worried, as anyone is with any fundraiser, but the people at CampusFundraiser were extremely nice and went well beyond my expectations by answering all of my questions and helping me schedule the fundraiser,” says Sarah.  She had no need to be worried, though.  She signed up for the Family and Friends Magazine Fundraiser, and after three days, the sisters ended up making $1,440! 

            “One thing that really amazed me was how excited everyone was about reaching our goal,” Sarah adds.  “I am positive we wouldn’t have achieved this success with any other fundraiser or any other company!”
