Alpha Phi Omega is no stranger to fundraising; their previous methods include bake sales, car washes, sonic car-hops, and restaurant fundraisers. When group leader Srivalli Kanumilli received an e-mail from a friend referring him to CampusFundraiser, their promise of proven, free and simple fundraising ideas seemed too good to be true.

After reading several success stories on their web page he thought “if other organizations could have successful fundraisers with CampusFundraiser then so could we.” He quickly called and found out that, “the staff at CampusFundraiser was friendly and helpful.” “They were very helpful in explaining the details of the fundraiser and my role as the group leader.” As for the other 20 group members, “they were excited to do something new and had fun during the fundraiser.” 

Guess this organization proved they could do it, with earnings of $1,570 in just 3 days with the Family and Friends Magazine Fundraiser they were excited that it was so easy! So what will they be spending the money on? Srivalli tells us “We will be using the money to help pay for our big service events this semester which includes a Math and Science Camp and Trick or Treat for Canned Goods.” These programs benefit elementary students along with the North Texas Food Bank.
