            The sisters of Alpha Sigma Tau at LaSalle University believe strongly in education.  That’s why every year, they donate money to the Pine Mountain Settlement School in Harlan, Kentucky.  This school, which focuses mainly on environmental education, also takes part in programs with the local schools to help out disadvantaged children. 

            When trying to figure out a fundraising idea, they decided to go with the one that they knew worked well – CampusFundraiser.  In two previous events with CampusFundraiser, the group has made $4,825.  That’s over $2,000 per fundraiser!  Group leader Mary Beth Garrity says that they chose to work with CampusFundraiser because she knew that it was “the best way to raise the most money.”

            CampusFundraiser “worked with our group week by week in order to keep everything organized so we could easily earn money,” says MaryBeth.  And they did!  The girls raised a total of $1,490 in just three days for their philanthropy, making their lifetime earnings now $6,315!  We were “more successful than we could have imagined!” adds MaryBeth.
