With the rowing season quickly approaching, Jessica Kasitz and her teammates were in desperation for some money and help.  After purchasing a new deck for $4000.00, the team’s bank account was nearly depleted.  Regattas require fees from the participants and some team members were in fear of not competing or dipping into their own pockets with the little money they had left over in their account.  It was quite evident that something had to be done.

The Aggie Crew rowers participate in two huge fundraising events each year.  The downside to these events is that they are highly labor intensive and time consuming.  Many of the members found it extremely difficult to fit it in to their schedule resulting in less capital gained.  Fortunately for the Aggie Crew team, a third huge fundraising event would come into play: CampusFundraiser!

Jessica discovered CampusFundraiser while simply browsing the internet and was intrigued by the different types of fundraising events offered.  As she inquired about the Survey Fundraiser a representative informed her of the Friends & Family Magazine Fundraiser.  She decided to do both and it is a good thing she did because the Aggie Crew team has raised over $1,600.00!  Jessica adds “The Friends & Family Magazine Fundraiser and Survey Fundraiser allowed our team to work and make money on our own time.”

“The staff was awesome! I emailed my representative the night before at 8:00 pm and received an email just five minutes later.  They answered all my questions and were extremely helpful.”  The combination of motivated group members and our motivated staff at CampusFundraiser, has led the Aggie Crew team to raise the funds needed to help pay for regatta costs and more.  All there is left to say is, GO AGGIES!
