Everyone knows that being a member of a fraternity can be difficult.  There are events to be planned, formals to attend, dues to be paid and the list goes on and on.  So, how do fraternities get the money to fund all of these events?  Fundraising?  Who has time for that?  Add classes and homework and you are looking at a very packed and stressful schedule.

When faced with the hard task of running a successful fundraiser, Doug Friedmann wasted no time and came directly to CampusFundraiser.  Referred to by the former fundraising chair, the Delta Chi brothers were so successful the previous year Doug figured it was worth a shot.  Being newly appointed to the fundraising chair, Doug looked to make a splash with his first fundraising event.  And he did exactly that! 

Doug and his brothers at Delta Chi Fraternity successfully raised $2,100.00 in just days using our Friends and Family Magazine Fundraiser.  “This was my first fundraising event and I was thrilled with the results.”  Not only did the brothers of Delta Chi reach their goal, they surpassed it.  The money raised would go towards their social budget to help the fraternity operate more smoothly.

Doug adds that “the staff was helpful and it gave me great leadership experience.”  If this was Doug’s first fundraiser, we hope to see what Delta Chi can do the second time around!
