Courtney Workman needed help. As president of U of M’s Graduate Women in Public Policy (GWIPP), she found herself presiding over a group that was so broke that every operating expense was coming out of the members’ pockets. There was no student government money available. No grants. No nuthin’!

And to get ahead of the curve, they’ve even arranged for a speaker on financial management issues specific to women to address their membership, students and alumni.
