“We had drained all our money from the previous year” says Urmi Cholera, Treasurer of UT/Austin’s Omega Phi Alpha “but we still needed cash for our annual national service week and for rush.” With no time for the car washes and raffles of the past, she turned to CampusFundraiser to generate big bucks in a short time.

“I heard through another student group you could make a lot with CampusFundraiser” she smiles. And unlike their previous experiences, the Student Magazine Fundraiser program seemed like it would be a lot less work with greater return.

Urmi delights in reporting they brought in 1/3 more money than they originally set out to raise, meaning there’s even money left over to put towards the formal. Asked if everyone involved is pleased with the results, Urmi just smiles.
