“We made $83 with our last fundraiser”, group leader and fundraising chair Kalene Hartigan tells us when asked about past fundraising experiences. A typical fundraiser in the past would be selling lollipops, entertainment books or other small scale things to try to raise money.  Frustrated by unsuccessful fundraising, Kalene decided to check out CampusFundraiser after receiving a post card in the mail. 

“CampusFundraiser encouraged me, as the group leader, and my entire sorority to believe in ourselves and do the very best we could” Kalene tells us. She also adds “The money we were able to earn in bonuses was just too much to pass up, and I knew it was something we could definitely do if we put in the effort.”

The added effort paid off and the Sorority was able to earn $1,199 in just 4 hours with the mtvU Non-Sales fundraiser.  Needless to say the sorority was very surprised at how well they did and how much cash they earned!

So how will the sorority spend their earnings? Kalene happily tells us “The money will go toward helping us send some of our sisters to leadership conferences in Chicago and Ohio.”
