The Track and Field team at Wheeling Jesuit University is no stranger to success. Under third year head coach, Trent Huntsinger, the team set six school records this season alone!  The Cardinals needed to raise funds for an awards banquet and extra travel expenses. Coach Huntsinger recalls getting an email offer from CampusFundraiser in his inbox and decided to run with it.

“We had great support and we were pleasantly surprised with the ease in which we were able to complete the fundraiser….we had great support from our Scheduling Manager and then having an on-site Fundraising Manager was very beneficial. We actually had someone to take us through all of the necessary steps. It was EXTREMELY easy to be successful!” says Coach Huntsinger. Initially, his team wasn’t too enthused, but trusted their coach. “At first they were very skeptical and did not believe at all that we would raise any money.  They were truly amazed at the ease of the activity.  They all made comments as to the amount of work that they didn't have to do,” notes Coach Huntsinger. Teaming up with CampusFundraiser, the Cardinals made over $1800 with the mtvU Non-Sales Fundraiser!

So what do successful groups like this do with their earnings? The Coach says, “We will have the nicest award banquet that we have ever had once the season is complete. We will also be able to use the money for some extra travel and equipment.”
