How do you play a game of rugby without a referee?

That was the question that the Women’s Rugby Team at Roger Williams University had to answer and quick. Unfortunately their school did not offer any solutions to help them with funding, so they soon had to turn to another alternative.

So when Stephanie the team leader, found out about CampusFundraiser from their previous president who had success she was thrilled. “They seemed to be very helpful and inviting and they answered all my questions and made sure we made the money we wanted to.” She says of her 19 group members “they were excited about earning a lot of money in a little amount of time.” “Our group members knew a bunch of people and everyone was more then willing to help out.”

Fortunately the team will no longer be wondering how they will play without a referee since their earnings of $2,227 well exceeded their expectations. Although this was the team’s first fundraiser with CampusFundraiser under current team leader Stephanie, she tells us “I loved it and I would definitely do it again.” Who could blame them since the outcome of their hard work was rewarded in little to no time?

Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that the team does not have to use the ambulances on the side line that they also had enough money to cover!
